10/24/2016 OWF Event #93

OWF Event #93
October 24, 2016 | Cincinnati, Ohio

The show began with the interim-Commissioner of the OWF, Austin Briggs. Briggs came out and didn’t waste any time with making his announcement. He said that after OWF #100 that the OWF would take its first tour out of he country, in Canada. Briggs said that they would spend a good amount of time up North showcasing the awesome talents of the OWF.

But Austin wasn’t done.

Briggs also announced that starting tonight on Twitter the OWF would post a poll with four potential matches and the fans would get to vote on which they want to see as the main event of OWF #100!

Edgar O’Sullivan vs Kenny Bench
Definitely a size difference in this one. But Edgar is a very sound technician in the ring, and worked in Kenny’s leg. Sullivan won by submission with the STF.

Backstage
The scene cut to Chloe Banks who was standing next to Francine Davis. They spoke about who Chloe would defend her Women’s Title against at OWF #100. Chloe said that she wasn’t sure who she would defend the title against. But she said that whether it be a young up and comer or someone who had been around the block a few times, that no one knew just how dangerous Chloe Banks really was, especially with her title on the line.

Cincinnati Homewrecking Crew vs Lady Stella & Kendra Lopez
A lot of quick brawling. Lady Stella hit a big boot to Hannah Rush and a big clothesline to Kinley Bow. Bow fought back, and the Cincinnati Home Wrecking Crew hit am awesome pancake into Codebreaker on Kendra for the three count.

Backstage
The scene cut backstage where the OWF Champion Blaine Edwards was hanging out with his girlfriend Zoey Kiehl and the OWF Network Champion Hayden Flowers. Blaine and Hayden got along very well. Zoey was laughing at the joking around that they were doing.

Hunter Chase vs Lafter w/ Lullaby
Hunter Chase had fallen victim to a sneak attack by Lafter on different occasions. Hunter attacked Lafter as he got into the ring this time. The two immediately tumbled to the outside and began brawling through the crowd.

Eventually Chase was able to shove Lafter back into the ring and use his technical skills to wear the evil clown down. Chase went up top and hit an awesome knee drop from the top that looked like it could wrap up the match.

As Hunter looked like he was setting Lafter up for the Chasing the Lions, Lullaby slid into the ring and attacked Hunter from behind. She hit him with lefts and rights trying to gain an advantage. The referee called for the bell due to the interference. But that didn’t stop him from grabbing Lullaby by her hair and ramming her into Lafter. They fell to the mat below and rolled out of the ring. They retreated up the entrance ramp as Hunter stood proud in the center of the ring.

Caitlin Cruz vs Jasmin
The Cincinnati crowd seemed to like both women. Jasmin used her speed to her advantage, but Cruz spiked Jasmin into the mat with the Pedigree for the win.

#1 Contender Three-Team Elimination Match
Dixon Boys vs Malakai & Trey Hawkins vs Population Control w/ Gary Kearns

To the surprise of the Cincinnati crowd, Population Control was part of this match. And honestly, no other team stood a chance. Malakai and Trey were the first to get flattened by Zeke and Able. They then turned their attention to the Dixon Boys.

The Dixon Boys put up a fight. They were a very good tag team. But the power that Zeke and Able possessed was just far too great. After a huge powerbomb to Jeremiah, Able hit a running splash for the three count.

Happy Birthday Andrew
