OWF Event #106
January 23, 2017
The show opened up with clips of Austin Briggs’ big announcement at FFP Frost Bite. One, that the OWF would present it’s first ever pay-per-view on February 25 (one night before FFP Desperate Measures), titled OWF We Earned This. Two, that at the OWF PPV, that the OWF would induct it’s first class into it’s brand new Hall of Fame.
Jaqueline Aulstrike vs Cincinnati Home Wrecking Crew
The match never officially started as the Cincinnati Home Wrecking Crew attacked Aulstrike before the bell. Jaqueline fought back, but Hannah Rush and Kinley Bow pummeled Jaqueline and eventually hit her with a double suplex through the ringside announcer’s table.
The scene cut backstage where Michael Graham and his client Deshaun Reed were speaking with OWF interim-Commissioner Austin Briggs. Michael said that the only match that should be the main event of OWF’s first ever pay-per-view OWF We Earned This, is Deshaun Reed challenging Blaine Edwards for the OWF Title. Briggs agreed and officially booked the match as the PPV main event.
Matt Thatcher vs Damien Bishop
Damien Bishop won the match looking very impressive. He pinned Thatcher after a powerbomb.
On February 25, one night before FFP Desperate Measures, the Ohio Wrestling Federation will present it’s first ever pay-per-view, OWF We Earned This. On this ground breaking show, we will also see the first ever class get inducted into the OWF Hall of Fame! You won’t want to miss this!
JJ Perry vs Dakudoragon
A very competitive and high flying match. Both superstars had the Cincinnati crowd cheering. JJ Perry won with a blockbuster from the middle turnbuckle.
Mixed Tag Team Match
Hunter Chase & Izzy Laroo vs Lafter & Lullaby
This feud had been ongoing for quite sometime. Lafter and Lullaby came out using cheap shots to gain the early advantage. But Hunter and Izzy came back on fire. Izzy hit a missile dropkick on Lullaby who was sent back into her corner. She tagged in Lafter who went toe-to-toe with Hunter. After a turnbuckle powerbomb, Chase planted Lafter with a full-nelson facebuster for the three count.
After the match Hunter and Izzy embraced in the ring.
Erika Storm vs Nikki Griffin
Erika came out in fire, lighting Nikki up with solid strikes and impressive moves. As it looked as if Erika was keying in on a victory, Lisa Ann Graves and Sierra St James quickly entered the ring. This brought out Erika’s friend Hope Jamison. The two on three was still virtually impossible. But then, out came Courtney Kennedy! Courtney helped Erika and Hope clear the ring, and finally stand tall over Lisa, Nikki and Sierra!
We definitely haven’t seen the last of this war!

The scene cut back to Austin Briggs’ office, where Juno Frost came in and asked for another shot at Fiona Burke’s OWF Women’s Title. Juno said that her defeating Fiona for the title at OWF’s first pay-per-view would be a nice addition to the show. Austin noted that the match would be good for the show, and officially booked it.
OWF Network Title
(c) Malakai vs Trey Hawkins
That’s right! Tag team partners going one-on-one for the OWF Network Title. The match was fast paced. And Trey Hawkins hit some awesome moves, including a Spanish fly feom the middle rope for a very close two count. But it was Malakai who fought back and hit Trey with You Didn’t Learn That in School for the three count.
