04/10/2017 OWF Event #116

OWF Event #116
April 10, 2017
Cincinnati, Ohio

The OWF Commissioner Duncan Wright came out and said that FFP’s “New Era” idea is something that will also take effect in the OWF, as proven by Duncan’s announcement of Deshaun Reed defending the OWF Title tonight against Trey Hawkins. He said he applauded the new owner of FFP Veronica Clyne’s efforts and feels FFP is in good hands.

Duncan continued, announcing the signing of two new OWF wrestlers. A brother and sister duo out of Pittsburgh, Travis and Rebelle Graye!

Dahlia Ashford w/ Rosie Erickson vs Cosmic Cupcake
Cosmic Cupcake looked to be on her way to a victory when Rosie Erickson got involved. Off of the distraction Dahlia caught Cupcake with a running big boot, then a facebuster for the three count.

Non-Title Match
Population Control vs Dixon Boys

Population Control continued their reign of dominance, smashing Jeremiah and Tucker in about three minutes.

On April 30, 2017 Full Force Pro presents All Torn Up, live from Orlando, Florida. Daniel Matthews will defend the FFP World Title in a Cage Match against Odell Porter, and much more! Don’t miss any of the action from FFP’s annual April pay-per-view next month!

Erika Storm & Courtney Kennedy vs Nikki Griffin & Sierra St James
An action packed tag team match. Again a few of the Cincinnati Beast members were at ringside, most notably quarterback Lena Senate. Sierra St James hit a beautiful moonsault, but Courtney kicked out, and eventually hit Sierra with a half and half suplex for the three count.

After the match Lisa and Nikki attacked Erika and Courtney, but like a couple weeks ago, Lena Senate hopped the guardrail and slid into the ring. The attackers retreated.

The scene cut backstage where Commissioner Duncan Wright announced that next week at OWF 117, Zoey Kiehl would challenge Juno Frost for the OWF Women’s Championship. He also announced that he had signed a new tag team to challenge Population Control for the OWF Tag Team Titles, but said it would be a surprise.

Kimber Stiles vs Caitlin Cruz
A hard hitting match with a lot of back and forth. Caitlin hit a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker for a close two count. But Kimber fought back, and after a flurry of clotheslines and a snap suplex, Kimber hit a superplex, and followed it up with the Curb Stomp for the pin.

Backstage
The scene cut backstage where Francine Davis was standing here with Hunter Chase. Chase was obviously exhausted, worrying about the well being of Izzy Laroo. He demanded that Lafter and Lullaby reveal where they are keeping her.

The scene then cut to a dark room where Lafter was dancing and laughing, saying that the transformation was almost complete. He said that next week he would face Hunter, and then Hunter could see Izzy.

OWF Network Title
(c) JJ Perry vs Edgar O’Sullivan

This was a fast paced match with a lot of close calls. Edgar locked JJ in his finisher, the STF in the middle of the ring. Perry reached and crawled for the ropes, but was losing steam quickly. When he got about an inch or two away, Edgar rolled the two back and continued stretching Perry back. JJ however hooked around Edgar’s leg and rolled him onto his back. The referee made the count. 1…2…3!

Perry retained, it definitely was a close one.

After the match JJ extended his hand to Edgar. They shook hands. Obviously there was mutual respect there.

May 28 Full Force Pro will present Guilty Pleasures. For the past few years, Guilty Pleasures has been the exclusive all-women pay-per-view of Full Force Pro. FFP will continue this tradition in 2017, featuring the best woman wrestlers on this planet. Whether you see it live in San Diego, or watch it on the FFP Network, you won’t want to miss it!

OWF Title
(c) Deshaun Reed w/ Michael Graham vs Trey Hawkins

Another back and forth match. Trey Hawkins came to the arena on this night to beat Deshaun Reed and leave the OWF Champion. A spinning back suplex, two superkicks and a jumping swinging DDT got Trey a close two count. Michael Graham attempted to get involved, but was hit with a spinning elbow for his troubles. Graham crashed to the arena floor. But when Hawkins turned around he was floored by a clothesline. Reed pulled Trey up and planted him with the Deshaun Driver. The OWF Champion then made the pin.
